Member Benefits 041-2: Cane Making
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Cane Making, , 11:01 amI love this cane. I also love learning how you do this. You see things so differently then I do. What a creative mind you have. Somehow you can think sideways, backwards and upside down! And then Ta Da everything is in the right place! ~Casey-C >> This comment was originally posted here: Backgroundless Tulip Cane
Hi Cindy, I purchased your beginner course about 3 months ago (which is about when I started working with polymer clay) so I can honestly say you have been with me from the beginning! What a godsend your tutorials have been! Your instructions are clear and concise and so very easy to follow. As you know, when I was done with the beginner class, I had to know more! I became a member and I have purchased almost all of your back issues. I have made flower canes that I could not believe I would ever be able to do. I have made Kaleidoscope canes and showed them to my sons and they look in wonder and say “how DO you do that?” I just smile and say Cindy showed me how. I have a friend that started using PC several months before me. I am proud to say that I have surpassed her current skill level and I owe it all to you! (Okay, just a teeny bit competitive there, but she started it, LOL). I tried your Blend and Switch tut yesterday and can’t wait to finish them. I just received my UV light and resin, so that is today’s project! Also, even though I’ve “graduated” from the beginner’s course, I still refer back to these videos when I can’t remember exactly what you said. I am also so very impressed with how quickly you respond to everyone’s questions (including mine) and if you aren’t immediately available, someone on the blog will be more than happy to jump in and help. Keep up the great work! I can’t wait to see what this week’s tutorial will be!! Very sincerely. ~Laura-Z >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Library
If I wasn’t already signed up this video sure would get me to become a member! You’ve come at this one from all angles – from using old canes to making from new and then on to how we can use the cane. Though I’m busy getting ready for Sunday’s sale at the church, I still can hardly wait to see this video! I’ll sure have some thing to tell folks to watch for at my next sale. ~Carolyn-F >> This comment was originally posted here: Easy Kaleidoscope Canes

Member Benefits 041-1: All Ages
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,All Ages, , 11:01 amThanks again, Cindy. I am 86 years old and have never been a fan of anyone. But now there is a polymer clay guru up in Canada who has my heart. ~Katherine-D >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Color Recipes
What a great story! I love getting kids involved in the clay. My husbands siblings (a 12 year old boy, a 14 year old girl, and a 16 year old girl) spend the night with us and working with clay is the first thing they ask to do when they walk in the door. I am especially close with the 14 year old and she has gotten good enough at it that she helps me on most of my projects, and she goes to festivals and shows with me! My cousin also hired me to come to her daughters 8th birthday and help her and all her friends make bracelets! ~Carrie-N >> This comment was originally posted here: Children and Polymer Clay
Cindy and Doug Thank you for the wonderful gift. I feel this weeks tute was so much more than just a lesson. It was a learning experience not to forget you can take a beautiful piece of art and with a tweak here and a change of color there you have a similar piece of jewelry that is now working for many woman of different ages and tastes enjoying the same technique. Now that is not only Awesome but PURE GENIUS!!! Many Many Uuuuugggss. ~Peggy-B >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Faux Dichroic Glass

Member Benefits 040-4: Tutoring Support
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Tutoring Support, , 11:01 amPretty tricky Cindy :) I wish all of my teachers in the past had been even half as tricky :) and inspiring as you are!!! Thank you for teaching me soooooooo much!!! I come back every day because I know there is always something else that I can learn on your site that I missed the last time around. Hey, Teacher…you can give out homework to me any day!:) ~Cindy-E >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Bead Making
If you have done nothing else Cindy you have made people stop and look at the world around them. This fast paced world that we live in, does take up to much of our time and then we ask ourselves where did the time go. My motto is Stop, Look and Listen. Look around you and enjoy the beauty from with in, and think to yourself how can I create that beauty into a work of art. Create something to show other people there is still beauty in the world and if your art work can make people stop and say that’s nice, you have accomplished what you set out to do. I think that is why I have so much fun with Polymer Clay. ~Sandra-H >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Canes

You are a fabulous polymer clay artist and I am always amazed at your tutorials, thank you again. ~Heidi-W >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Beads

Cindy, you must be a mind reader. I have been making golf stroke counters and I can never decide what to end the bottoms of the cords with. I like putting little beads or dangles on them on the wire cord ends would be perfect. I use shoelaces to make my cords but then cut off the plastic ends and there are no wire cord ends that fit on them. The ones you made in the short video look awesome. You are a genius besides being a mind reader. ~Bonnie-K >> This comment was originally posted here: Cord End Findings
Cindy – I anxiously wait for Fridays to come, to see what new wonderful video tutorials you have waiting for us. Each week you amaze me with something completely new and challenging. I have really enjoyed your tutorials on tribal canes and beads. I just can’t say thanks enough to you Cindy for your wonderful style of teaching us this craft. Thanks again. ~Nancy-R >> This comment was originally posted here: Tribal Cane Jewelry Projects
I seriously love that I idea. I loved that idea so much that yesterday I made two necklaces with hooks on either side using black satin rat tail… the hooks on one of them looks a lot your hooks. Wow! I was amazed at the number of pendants I had already that would work with it. Such a versatile little necklace. I say… Fabulous!!! You are the PC Guru and my buddha! ~Melinda-H >> This comment was originally posted here: Jewelry Hooks
