Member Benefits 043-3: Tutoring Support
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Tutoring Support, December 15, 2011, 11:01 amHow do you do it Cindy? Once again you have read my mind! As I get closer and closer to completing my “studio” (I use that term in the most liberal sense) I find myself thinking ahead to the how’s and wherefore’s of what I will do with my finished “objects d’art” and how I might possibly make some money selling them. But before I can even ask the question, “O Great Swami Cindy” answers all! I just don’t know how you do it all. Videos, color recipes, articles, etc. What’s your secret? You can tell me. You’re secretly triplets right? However you do it, please don’t stop. You’re the best. ~Jamie-H >> This comment was originally posted here: Selling Handmade Polymer Clay Jewelry
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE polymer clay! I have always had my hands in art of some kind for as long as I can remember. I have spent countless nights awake working on project after project only to find that I would grow tired of it once I “mastered” the skill. Once I discovered Polymer clay I realized that not only are there endless projects, beads and more but I could further create by using the beads in my jewelry. So, back to sleepless nights of project after project, only now I am satisfied!!! I discovered Cindy Lietz’s website by searching for new ideas. (Since I am self-taught I have learned by spending WAY too much time online) I am so excited to have found her website! I have learned more from Cindy than I have from all of the other sites I have checked out! Her videos have been a lifesaver. ~Kim-M >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Beads
Hi Cindy! Lietz Teardrop Blend!.. what a great shortcut! I’m so proud to be a member! I have missed a lot of the excitement and I missed the video but I saw the tutorials and comments and will try to play catch up. So much has happened. I’m trying to find a time to read members and non members, comments, download colors, find treasure hunt colors and breathe. You have made my days brighter! Thanks Cindy. ~MaryEllen-S >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Color Blends

Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Sculptural, , 11:01 amCindy – Although I’m doing more sculpting than jewelry right now, I always enjoy your videos. I’ll take your videos over a movie anytime. LOL! ~Lynda-D >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Sculpting
These are absolutely (yep, I’m gonna say it, too) …ADORABLE! These little purse beads are so cute, and the charm bracelet you made with them would look pretty on any wrist! Love the Pandora-style purse bead, and the cool way the handles end up looking “beaded”. Another wonderful video tutorial. Hmmm…do you get tired of hearing how wonderful you are, Cindy? ;D Well, I never tire of your greatness, that’s for sure. ~Phaedrakat >> This comment was originally posted here: Purse Shaped Beads
This was very cool! To make canes so you can have even more control over it was a nice surprise. I think this will work when trying to make faux wood. Just use “wood” colors. I think this will be easier for me to make little tables and chairs for my doll house (which by the way was the first reason I got into polymer clay) I ended up becoming very distracted by your videos!! So many ideas so little time!! ~Catalina >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tutorials

Member Benefits 042-4: Video Learning
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Video Learning, , 11:01 amThanks so much for sharing the video of the Northern Lights. What a spectacular sight! And your examples are just stunning. You just continue to come up with the best videos week after week! ~Fran-R >> This comment was originally posted here: Aurora Technique Video
It took me a long time to join because I wasn’t sure I would want to pay for a video that I couldn’t “hold in my hand” to keep. After I joined I was sorry I hadn’t joined sooner. The videos are so well done. Even though what I do isn’t as precise as Cindy’s, it is good enough for me. The enjoyment of having these lessons available whenever I want them is stupendous. ~Freda-K >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Video Library
Rather than investing in books, get everything Cindy has in her library. You’d be much better off. The videos are always better than print and pictures. And Cindy’s prices can’t be beat. She is the best … wish I had found her before I invested in books that now just sit on the shelf. ~Carolyn-F >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Art Sheets
I woke up early in anticipation of the next video (5 am here in the UK) – you’ve really got me hooked Cindy! Your videos are not only cleverly produced and filmed in a way that is easy to see (thank you Doug!) but the ideas are so amazing! Every week you come up with something new and I’m always surprised. More power to your elbow Cindy! And thanks for a super web site! ~Marion-R >> This comment was originally posted here: Sculptural Birdhouse Beads

Member Benefits 042-3: Color Mixing
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Color Mixing, , 11:01 amI’m learning more about color theory from the recipes than I could ever learn from a book. This is another beautiful palette. Thanks Doug for your uncanny ability to capture the beauty of nature, and to you, Cindy, for your uncanny ability to translate it into recipes we can incorporate into our work. What a team!! ~Elizabeth-S >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Color Recipes
I always love your color choices, Cindy. Thank goodness we have you to come up with all of these beautiful color palettes. ~Jeanne-C >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Colors
I consider myself pretty good at colour mixing and can usually “see” what I need to use to get a particular shade, but I’ve found that I’ve learned a lot from mixing up Cindy’s recipes, much more than I thought I would. ~Silverleaf >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tutorials
Breathtaking!!!! I love everything about this…the colors and the way they work together in the cane, the design of the beads, the copper stamens, and the bail. This is an example of colors that I wouldn’t have looked at twice in the past, that I now love, because of you, Cindy! ~Linda-K >> This comment was originally posted here: Woodland Flora Polymer Clay Pendant
