Member Benefits 048-4: Course Feedback
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Course Feedback, , 11:01 amHi Cindy, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give feedback on the course. I have to say that I wouldn’t have known what materials and supplies to buy before your course, as there always seemed to be too much choice and it was hard to know where to start. I have also been looking through some old books as well as going over your course. Consequently I now feel much more confident in starting. Your visuals have helped to clarify much of the material in the books, so now I feel that I will be starting the correct way from the beginning, rather than the hit and miss affair I was originally envisaging. Your tutorials are excellent. Very clear and slow enough to easily follow. I also like the short format, enough to get started but not too much to take in. Although I am a true beginner I find that when I view your more advanced videos, I actually feel I could do them with a bit of practice. So I’m looking forward to using all your hints and tips. ~Linda-H >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Polymer Clay Artists
Hi Cindy, Just wanted to let you know that your Polymer Clay Basics Course is awesome! I have learned a lot from your videos. Before finding your course I was watching You Tube videos to try and figure out how to use polymer clay. Some of them were ok, but nothing like yours. You go into great detail, and for a beginner like me it helps tremendously. I have already made some of the Book Beads. My youngest daughter, Brittany and her soon to be in-laws read a lot so I think a cool looking bookmark is something that will be used a lot and appreciated as well. I look forward to learning more from you. Thanks! ~Patricia-M >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Polymer Clay Book Beads
Cindy, I wanted to let you know that I found the Beginners course extremely helpful. Even though some of the tips seem so simple, they were things that would have taken me years to figure out. You gave me confidence to try other lessons that you offer like how to make beads for these Pandora style cable bracelets. After making one for myself, two folks admired it and ordered them from me! Your courses are definitely worth the money. ~Susan-W >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Pandora Style Beads

Member Benefits 048-3: Health Wellness
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Health Wellness, , 11:01 amCindy… Like many other responses that I have read here, I, too, am very thankful for your tutorials that you and Doug so faithfully bring us every week. Also I’ve noticed how quickly you respond to any questions we email you with. It’s like having our direct link to a movie star who actually responds personally to her fan club! LOL. I also want to thank you for bringing such joy into the lives of so many of us. I had to retire early due to a disability that keeps me close to home and fairly physically inactive. I’ve been play/claying for several years and have never seen any site that teaches so much sooo economically as yours does. Anyone who is living off of disability benefits will tell you that funds are tight but the INVESTMENT I make with you each month is considered almost a necessity for sanity for me. Keep up the outstanding work you and your husband produce each week! Sincerely. ~Maria-K >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Polymer Clay Tutorials
Peggy – I agree 100% about the support group. I am not sure I would have made it through those weeks in the hospital without the loving, caring, praying support I had from right here in Cindy’s group. Cindy, you have definitely created something more than just a clay blog! This is a group of people who truly do care about one another – and from all around the world! What more could we ask for. Thank you, Cindy, and thanks to ALL of you. I’m doing much better though I still need the walker because of the muscle weakness. I’m eating real good – dessert first – Life is too short to leave dessert ’til last! ~Carolyn-F >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Polymer Clay Videos
Hi Linda B. this amazing story of yours almost makes me want to hurry up the road to the nearest special school and teach these lovely kids. Their work is amazing and your tutoring almost comes from God. What wonderful patience you have , and what gratification and fulfillment you must feel. Thanks to our wonderful Cindy who shows us all the way, we can pass it on to such great causes. I just loved your story and had tears looking at their wonderful work, knowing especially how handicapped some of them are.I love teaching too, and now know in my “twilight” years, LOL that my real vocation should have been in teaching, so can truly understand what you are saying here. Can’t you tell you how inspired I am and how inspiring you are, being the Grandma like you, I can really relate. God bless you. Love XXXX. ~Elizabeth-K >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Heartwarming Story about Special Needs Children and Polymer Clay

Member Benefits 048-2: Color Mixing
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Color Mixing, , 11:01 amAnother amazing set of colors! And another beautiful picture for us to admire! Cindy, I love the little stories you tell with each new color recipe. Thanks to both you and Doug for bringing us these color inspirations! ~Tanya-L >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Butterfly Garden Polymer Clay Colors
Dear Cindy, There you go again… teaching us how to smile and work happily with our artistic muse (I think she is you!), and taking the frustration out of working with polymer clay! You are such a natural, clear and precise teacher! Thank you so much for that. Your sunflower picture and color recipes are making me burst with excitement!!! I will be trying the new color combinations this evening (who knows what lovelies I will come up with now!). You have really inspired me, and I have tons of ideas running through my mind now that I see how combining colors from the clay packages creates COUNTLESS POSSIBILITIES!!! :) You are teaching me that working with color in PC is very similar to working with color in other mediums. I have been painting with oils, water colors, and acrylics for years, and got really excited about polymer clay when I just happened to run across your blog. Since then, my painting is on the back burner while I excitedly follow your examples with my new found love… polymer clay!!! Thank you from the bottom of 1/2 part white, 1/2 part translucent, and 1/8 part alizarin crimson heart :) Sincerely. ~Cindy-E >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Mixing Up Polymer Clay Recipes
Another winsome colorful story Cindy. With today’s rocky roads there is always a place to go for respite …your blog with the color palettes. Always a fun place to visit and join you in fond memories that can trigger memories in our own growing up years. Thank you, Cindy, for taking us along down memory lane. And now on to take hold of inspirations abounding from these truly beautiful colors! ~Joyce-M >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Polymer Clay Maple Pods Color Recipes

Member Benefits 048-1: Cane Making
Filed in 3: Member Benefits,Cane Making, , 11:01 amThis is wonderful! Another simple technique that ends up looking like it must be very complicated to do. The pumpkin cane and the brain cane look particularly good when turned into feather canes. Thanks again Cindy and Doug. ~Susan-B >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Scrap Clay Feather Canes
I am relatively new to Cindy’s tutorials. I have never posted before. I just finished the peacock feather cane. It is absolutely beautiful. But more importantly, I think I taught me more about making polymer clay canes then I have learned in the 4 years that I have be practicing. I also gave me a zillion ideas of other things I can make by adapting the same process. I am thrilled! No one is going to see me again until work on Monday. I’m just working on my canes. Cindy you have a unique gift of breaking down complex tasks into simple steps. Thank You. ~Kathleen-C >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Peacock Feather Cane Video
Cindy, it stuns me how you can make something as complex as that butterfly cane, break it down into such easy steps, then share tons of ideas for using it. Love the curling tail flower application. ~Joceyln-C >> This comment was originally posted at the following link: Blue Morpho Butterfly Wing Cane
