Member Benefits 013-2: Tutoring Support

Polymer Clay Membership SiteI found this site about a week ago and got a membership. I have always be intimidated with clay, but because of your calm teachings I think I can, I think I can, by George I did make my first beads and you are right, while sanding is hard work it really does make a difference.  ~Taylor >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Beads

Hi, I have been all over your site for the last hour and a half. You rock! ~Andrea >> This comment was originally posted here: Making Lentil Beads

Cindy, For Valentine’s Day, my husband decided to take me shopping (early) for all the polymer clay supplies my little heart desired. I’ve been designing jewelry with vintage pieces coupled with new beads… and I stumbled upon the idea for creating my own beads last week.  Been reading all I can find on the process, and came upon your site this evening. My head is pleasantly spinning! I don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep tonight! Your work is amazing, Cindy, but even more amazing is your willingness to teach. Your site is better than chocolate. And I really, REALLY like chocolate. ~Seedplanter >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Pendants

Cindy, I’m so excited!  I sold my first “Zuzu’s Petals” keepsake jewelry (necklace and earrings made with red rose petals) this week!!  And I have you to thank for making it all possible!!!  I can’t wait to see what’s to come with this line of my jewelry!!  Thank you for all your hard work here and for sharing your knowledge and experience with all of us! ~Marsha >> This comment was originally posted here: Flower Petal Beads

Well, not only am I learning about polymer clay baking, but how to possibly fix my cookies as well!  Never thought about why that happens.  I love to cook, have actually catered from time to time, so I am learning not only about about clay, but cooking as well.  I knew there was a reason I found this website.  Would love to know how you figured this out.  What a guru! ~Karen >> This comment was originally posted here: Baking Polymer Clay

What a great blog! So useful! I’ve always wondered about polymer clay, and this looks like a great place to start (not that I really NEED another craft interest, but that’s beside the point, lol!) Thanks for visiting my Mama’s Magic blog and commenting. ~Jen >> This comment was originally posted here: Making Polymer Clay Beads

You are on top of things, Cindy!  No question goes unaddressed. :) ~Cynister >> This comment was originally posted here: How To Make Large Polymer Clay Beads

Good morning Cindy.  I just wanted to say thank you for your website and videos.  The website is easy to navigate and the free videos have been great.  I am going to order the course as soon as I finish this email to you. I have been crafting for years and since HGTV has changed their craft show format,  I look to the internet for more instructional sites.  I am chronically ill ( for 21yrs. now) so it is hard for me to attend a class.  People like you make it possible for me to enjoy doing crafts that I might otherwise not get to do.  Thank you for sharing your knowledge and using your great teaching skills with others.  God bless you.  Sincerely. ~Zoe >> This comment was received via email.

Hi Cindy, I looked over my new video subscription today, and it’s awesome!! Know that I will have to return again (mannnyyyy times)!!!! You’ve definitely given me the initiative, and I loved your method of teaching — just matter of fact, and unlike most with an attitude (You are learning from a Rocket Scientist!!) Ha! Ha! Thanks again, and I’ll be back to look over the tutorials I purchased today.  Would have come sooner, but I’m computer illiterate. Ahem! (it could be that I’m 64 and these things just don’t come to easily). Obviously I did something right though, because I was able to access the entire program I purchased. It had to have been my prayers to Jesus, because it was really getting to me.  Thanks again, and by the way — I’d highly recommend your course to anyone. I plan on getting onto the Google and putting your name out. You are an exceptional teacher, and very gifted!!!! With Appreciation. ~Diana >> This comment was originally posted here: How To Make Polymer Clay Beads

Hey Cindy! I love your site so far…I have been trying to follow along in a backwards sort of way. I have dabbled in Polymer Clay…but it has been a while since I actually made anything!!! However I have a need to get back into it and just happened along on your site…it is really fun!!! ~K >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Metal Leafs

Thank You!!!! Thank You !!!! Thank You!!! I will visit your site often. I am a beginner and have been trying to learn, what a help you have been. I hope to some day meet you and Thank you in person. Where I work they are down sizing and it is just a matter of time, before it will be my time to go. I will be 58 tomorrow and I have loved art all of my life and there is not anything I have not tried. I have wanted to combine my love of drawing and photography into one medium and I have found it, Polymer Clay, I am glad you are out there for beginners like me. So again  I say THANK YOU, Warm Regards. ~Sandy >> This comment was received via email.

Thanks for the swift reply, Cindy. I will try to get the Klear and update the site with my ‘success’! … Cheers for the input – I can already see you and the site will be indispensable in the coming months. ~Lore >> This comment was originally posted here: Buffing Polymer Clay Beads

I played a little last night with my clays, keeping in mind the things I learned from your videos. Wasn’t great…but I am getting there.  It’s funny because I know in my mind how these things are supposed to be done……I guess my hands just haven’t figured it out yet!!  I am so intrigued with so many techniques and I have to keep reminding myself that I have to PRACTICE doing these things for it all to come together. For instance, mokume gane… when I tried to do it…well, let’s just say that my dog could have done better!  But I know (in my head) that I can do this and get good results…..now if I can just get my hands to get on the same page!! Sorry for the rambling….. Thank you again for showing my hands how to behave!!! ~Pepper >> This comment was originally posted here: Making Polymer Clay Jewelry

Great info and fine job you’re doing on the tutorials. I appreciate all the hard work it is for you and certainly will sign up for your monthly membership. That’s a drop in a bucket compared to the price of gasoline these days. Thanks again. ~Nancy >> This comment was originally posted here: Polymer Clay Tube Beads

I have to learn the design issues with making canes. I also need to have some help with sketching out an idea and not so much as being inspired as I work. I appreciate all the suggestions for finishing. Please keep up all of your hard work  providing quality education for those of us who are benefiting from it. Thanks. ~Diane >> This comment was originally posted here: Mixing Polymer Clay Colors

Once again I am just blown away by all that you share here Cindy!!!!! I am learning new things and I am soaking it all in….I am a newbie, I have been playing with clay for a few months now but nothing serious. I already make my own jewelry and thought how fun it would be to design my own items through clay. I am most interested in the canes….and there is so much to learn. If I purchase your video lessons do I just have the 30 days to look at all of them or how does that work? I work and take care of an elderly mother as well as my hubby so I don’t have a lot of time on the PC…so I will wait to see what you post back…..:0)  Thankx again Cindy….this is GREAT!!!!  ~Pamela >> This comment was originally posted here: Fimo Polymer Clay Tutorial
